WWE does their best to get Superstars over, but it just isn’t in the cards for everyone. Even former NXT Champions run the risk of being brutally misguided on the WWE main roster.

Karrion Kross was a former NXT Champion, but Vince McMahon ruined his character with gladiator attire. Then he was released, only to be brought back later by Triple H. It seems his booking hasn’t improved dramatically.

During Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry brought up Karrion Kross’ current character on the WWE main roster. A very good point was made that Kross isn’t getting the same treatment on the main roster that he did in the black and gold version of NXT at all.

“As long as they allow [Karrion] Kross to be the Kross that we saw on NXT black-and-gold, but he’s not that guy. The matches that he had with Dijakovic and the matches that he had with all of the top-tier guys at that time, he’s not wrestling like that. He’s out there wrestling like, for lack of a better term, enhancement talent. He’s got to be him.”

Karrion Kross still has a lot of stories to write. After all, he just started a new program with Shinsuke Nakamura last week on SmackDown. Only time will tell how that turns out, but Kross and his tarot card loving character aren’t going away any time soon.

What’s your take on this situation with Karrion Kross? Is his time on the WWE main roster already going “tick-toc?” Sound off in the comments!
