WWE RAW was not stellar for their episode after WrestleMania, and a lot of fans blame Vince McMahon for that. He was not at SmackDown this week to follow up on RAW, and a lot of people were happy to see that. However, Vince McMahon is still running the show, and he doesn’t want anyone to forget that.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon wasn’t treating SmackDown like he did RAW this week. He was not “undercutting” Triple H for the blue brand, as we were told that, “Vince really got his hands deep into the Monday show, and that was Monday.”

Vince McMahon’s performance backstage at WWE RAW saw him tear up the script before the show started, and he wasn’t finished tweaking it until the show was already on the air. Naturally, this caused a lot of chaos backstage as everyone had to adjust to a new way of doing things once again.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that Vince McMahon was not in Portland for SmackDown this week. That being said, he can still show up whenever he wants and take over the show.

Vince was not in Portland. He was working remote, they did not change a lot, but there were things that changed. It wasn’t anything major, whatever that means.

He was involved. When it comes to how often he will be involved, nobody knows. He’s gonna show up when he shows up, he’s gonna do what he wants to do, and that’s the deal.

We’ll have to see when Vince McMahon shows up to WWE television once again. It is still his show, so he can do whatever he wants. Even if Mr. McMahon isn’t physically there, he will still certainly be able to change the show with a phone call.

What’s your take on Vince McMahon’s return to WWE? Do you hope he stays away from creative from this point on? Sound off in the comments!
