Vince McMahon returned to WWE and a slew of headlines followed that. Mr. McMahon arranged a merger with the UFC, and there is a lot to talk about backstage, so some discussions might hit pause for a minute.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there was some thought within WWE that Damage CTRL might be done. This was sparked into overdrive the moment Vince McMahon pulled Bayley from going out on RAW with Dakota Kai and IYO Sky.

In addition, Bayley was told not to go out with Kai & Sky. While not official, there was a belief Damage Ctrl was being broken up and a tweet from Bayley indicated that. Kai & Sky basically looked like enhancement talent in the presentation of the tag match.

Ringside News reached out to follow up on this story. After all, it would be a bit troubling if Vince McMahon’s return called for a breakup of the stable Triple H put together.

We were told by a tenured member of the creative team that, “no one was talking about it this week.” That being said, the jury might still be out on Damage CTRL’s future.

It was previously reported that Bayley is not leaving WWE. That being said, there were couple of top WWE Superstars who did say that they are prepared to put in their release requests after Vince McMahon’s performance backstage at WWE RAW this week.

What’s your take on Bayley’s situation with Damage CTRL? Has that stable worn itself out? Sound off in the comments!
