WWE held the first night of WrestleMania 39 on Saturday, and SoFi Stadium was abuzz for the showcase of the immortals. It turns out that the event also had quite a response backstage.

Triple H spoke about how this year’s WrestleMania event was a bit different, because they didn’t have the old guard around. It is funny he said that, because Vince McMahon was still around for the entire night, and he wasn’t shy about his opinions.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that the overwhelming response to WrestleMania Saturday was a positive one. That being said, they were also very pleased with the fan reaction to the showcase of the immortals’ first night.
