AEW has a tendency of hyping big announcements for Dynamite. Many fans have tuned in just to hear what Tony Khan has to reveal next. It seems that the company could have a few big surprises up their sleeves.

AEW is very close to announcing a new Saturday television show. It is assumed that they will tape their first episode during the company’s upcoming Canadian tour.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about AEW’s next announcement. There are a few options, including announcing something about CM Punk.

It could be the Owen Hart Tournament, you know, we’re getting closer to that time of the year. Tony has said that they’re going to do another Owen Hart cup. It could be CM Punk, obviously so, those are just some of the things it could be.

An announcement about AEW’s upcoming Fight Forever video game is also possible. After all, AEW has not revealed an actual release date.

Tony Khan has a reputation of making big announcements on AEW television. Only time will tell what he has to reveal this time around, but it wouldn’t surprise anyone at all to hear about a new Saturday show, the Owen Hart Cup Tournament’s return, or even something about CM Punk’s status.

This is a very interesting situation, because all three of those announcements would bring out a different reaction from the AEW fan base. Only time will tell which one Tony Khan reveals.

What’s your take on Tony Khan’s big announcement on AEW Dynamite? Are you expecting CM Punk’s return? Sound off in the comments!
