The Young Bucks entered AEW as 2/4 of the company’s EVPs, and they carried on as top names for the company. After a suspension, due to a fight they can’t talk about on AEW All Access, the Jackson Brothers returns, but now they both might be gone for a while.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer addressed the Young Bucks’ situation. He noted that while Matt Jackson’s injury is legit, the reported separated shoulder for Nick Jackson is not real at all.

So, they’re doing a worked shoulder separation on Nick, and I know everyone is like, ‘oh Nick is going to get a singles run,’ and it doesn’t necessarily look that way right now. You know, if they are doing this injury thing. With Matt, they said he has a partially torn biceps, which is exactly what he has.

It was previously reported that Nick Jackson will not lose his brother during this injury hiatus. Matt Jackson was thought to carry on and make television. However, it seems that neither of them are going to be around for a while.

This is very interesting, especially with the Young Bucks’ AEW contracts running up. It is possible that they are both taking time so one of them doesn’t end up with a longer stay in AEW due to the company freezing a contract during an injury hiatus.

Only time will tell what AEW’s plan is for the Young Bucks. Obviously, they are big stars who command a proper amount of attention from viewers. Right now, it seems that Kenny Omega will be the only member of The Elite on television right now.
