Cody Rhodes is currently one of the most beloved stars in the world of WWE and there is a good reason for that. Prior to all this, he was a staple of AEW for the past few years before leaving the company. Now it seems Tony Khan has been ripped for letting Cody Rhodes leave AEW.

Cody Rhodes suddenly left AEW in February last year, leaving fans in shock. Before his exit, Rhodes was one of the biggest stars in the company and one of the EVPS there as well.

Cody Rhodes was frequently booed in AEW toward the very end of his run with the company. Fans simply wanted him to turn heel no matter what, but that never happened. Many people also felt Rhodes’ departure was a huge blow to AEW.

While speaking to Inside the Ropes, pro wrestling legend Diamond Dallas Page talked about Cody Rhodes jumping ship to WWE. Page ripped Tony Khan for letting Rhodes leave AEW.

Cody Rhodes also got big props for keeping his AEW gimmick alive in WWE. Rhodes is also the favorite to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see whether The American Nightmare will be able to defeat Roman Reigns and make history.
