WWE Planning To Keep Another Yearly Tradition For 2023 Hall Of Fame Ceremony

The WWE Hall of Fame includes a few yearly traditions, and it appears that the company will contuse with one of them this year. The only inductees so far are Rey Mysterio, The Great Muta, Andy Kaufman, and Stacy Keibler. Although there will be a very small WWE Hall of Fame induction class in 2023, they are still going to present a Warrior Award.

PW Insider reported that Dana Warrior is headed to Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39 Weekend. She will be a part of this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to present another Warrior Award.

Of course, the Warrior Award is dedicated to the memory of the Ultimate Warrior. That award goes out to people who have showed tremendous heart and character through adversity, or those who have made a big impact. This award was actually suggested during the Ultimate Warrior’s own WWE Hall of Fame speech.

It’s unclear who will win the 2023 Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame. That name was not revealed in the report. We do know that WWE is planning to give another award this year.

It is interesting to note that the Warrior Award was initially suggested by the Ultimate Warrior to go to those people backstage in WWE who never receive proper credit. Those influential names behind the scenes aren’t the focus of the award, but the company is still presenting it to worth individuals who show the spirit of the Warrior.

WWE could honor a former referee this year, for the first time ever, and that referee is said to be one “the entire industry loved.” It’s unclear who that will be, but names like Tim White have certainly floated around. Of course, there used to be mandate against inducting referees.

Dana Warrior is still with WWE as a part of the Community Relations department. She doesn’t appear on camera very often, but it’s nice to see her at the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
