John Cena was the face of WWE from 2006 to 2016 and has now adopted the role of a part-timer. He won numerous titles in WWE and managed to become a living legend already. He also respects his peers and it seems Cena loves Ric Flair’s lust for life.

Ric Flair’s record of 16 recognized reigns as World Champion is a feat that is matched only by Cena himself, making the two wrestlers stand out as legends in the industry.

While speaking on Whisky Ginger, Cena recalled the energy and enthusiasm that Flair exuded when they were on the road together. Cena expressed his admiration for Flair’s ability to love life and his constant positivity. Cena added that he loved Ric Flair’s lust for life.

Cena then noted that there is a balance to be found when it comes to living life to the fullest. The Leader of Cenation acknowledged that there is a tipping point where it becomes counterproductive to live like each day is your last. Despite this, John Cena was in awe of Ric Flair’s ability to maintain his passion and wisdom for the sport, even after years of being in the business.

“He’s got such a tremendous lust for life. I am drawn to that, I am drawn to people who love life. There is a tipping point where it becomes counterproductive. You don’t want to live like today is your last day.

I try and find a little bit of balance. But man, he was always great. The late Pat Patterson was always great, because these guys not only are there because they want to socialize and share, but they have all this f*cking wisdom. Ric and Pat, they’re not jaded. Ric still isn’t jaded. I mean, we all have our bad days, but he loves it [life.]”
