Bray Wyatt’s WWE return was a thrilling moment, complete with blinding light bursting through a doorway. Sadly, it seems that his road to WrestleMania hit a real snag.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Bray Wyatt “has not been cleared to return.” WrestleMania is 10 days away at this point, and the fact that WWE didn’t even mention his match against Bobby Lashley could be telling.

Sean Sapp reported a note behind Fightful’s paywall. Bray Wyatt was not in Las Vegas for SmackDown this week. Instead, he was at home in Tampa, Florida.

Bray Wyatt was not at Smackdown Friday. He was in Tampa at home.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Bray Wyatt’s current situation is very interesting. He’s been off television for a week or so, which puts his WrestleMania match in apparent jeopardy.

“Man, nobody knows what’s going on there. Not a mention of Bray Wyatt all night [during RAW]. Not a mention of Bobby Lashley all night.”

“I mean, it looks to me like he’s, I mean I don’t wanna say it looks like he’s off the show, but it looks like he’s off the show, because they are not mentioning his name at all. They did a little flash with that Bray Wyatt stuff on Friday’s show, so he’s with the company. There was another video where they showed him briefly, so it’s not like he’s been scrubbed from anything, but he was supposed to be at the show Friday night. So whatever it is, it’s a health issue, and the health issue hasn’t cleared up yet, and you know if they were confident that it was, they would at least have Bobby Lashley out there doing promos and stuff.”

Bray Wyatt was spotted for the first time since his WWE absence. Hopefully, he’s feeling better very soon and can get back to work. Sadly, WrestleMania is going to go down with, or without, him.

We will have to see what’s next for Bray Wyatt. His seemingly obvious alliance with Alexa Bliss was also stalled, but she promised that she will be at WrestleMania. Only time will tell what happens at the showcase of the immortals this year.
