WWE has a lot of plans for the future, and they are going back to Madison Square Garden in July. That being said, they might not bring two huge members of their roster along with them.

Sean Sapp noted that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are currently not slated to be at WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden. This is very interesting, but they have a long way to go before then.

WWE is returning to MSG in July, and is advertising current Smackdown talent at the moment. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are not yet listed.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are going to throw down in the main event of WrestleMania 39. That match was set after Rhodes won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match, but it’s anyone’s guess where things will go after the showcase of the immortals.

If Roman Reigns loses his Undisputed WWE Universal Title, then it stands to reason that a break would be deserved. It is still very interesting to see that Cody Rhodes also isn’t advertised as a name to bring in extra attention for WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden.
