Andrade El Idolo and Charlotte Flair’s relationship started in 2019 and while the two of them worked for the WWE at the time, their paths never crossed on screen. Right from the start, Charlotte was considered a top star, while Andrade was treated like a mid-card talent.

Despite being in a relationship, Andrade and Charlotte Flair never teamed up on screen like some of their counterparts. Andrade was eventually released from the company in 2021 and the couple got married in 2022. While Flair continued to dominate the WWE ring, Andrade moved on to AEW, where he is currently sidelined with a torn pectoral injury.

There has also been plenty of speculation regarding his future in the company with many people believing that Triple H will consider re-signing him in the future. Charlotte Flair did an interview with Alfred Konuwa of Forbes where she expressed interest in working together with her husband on screen as well.

“The spin is that Charlotte Flair wants to share the camera with Andrade El Idolo at some point,” said Flair.

When questioned regarding a potential timetable for it, Charlotte Flair noted that you can’t put a timetable on anything in wrestling and cited Lita and Trish’s return as an example. In the end, you really can’t put a timetable to pro wrestling.

“Wherever that ends up? Do I think there’s a timetable? I don’t think you can put a timetable in wrestling. I mean, look at Lita and Trish being back how many years later. I’d like to be with him sooner rather than later, but it’s just whatever, you know, destiny holds for us.”

Given that they both work for different companies, the chances of them reuniting seem less likely to happen unless one of them switches companies. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you similar stories.
