Marty Jannetty’s Niece Allegedly Hits Pedestrian Leaving Them In Critical Condition

Marty Jannetty’s antics have scored countless headlines over the years. You can click here for nice run-down of some of his most insane posts. Now, it seems that one of his family members is in a tough situation of their own.

WTVM in Columbus, Georgia reports that there was a traffic accident involving a pedestrian. This accident saw a vehicle hit a person, leaving them hospitalized in critical condition. It turns out that driver was apparently Marty Jannetty’s niece.

Police are presently investigating the matter. It was further reported that the pedestrian remains in critical condition after this accident, and drivers were advised to take another route to avoid the area where the accident took place.

According to the Columbus police, the wreck happened on JR Allen Parkway near the 2nd Avenue Exit.

The pedestrian was taken to a Columbus hospital, where his condition remains critical.

Officials are advising that drivers avoid the area and take an alternate route.

Police continue to investigate this incident.

Marty Jannetty sent out a heartbroken private Facebook post, asking friends for prayers. The former Rocker also promised that his niece was not at fault in this situation either. Obviously, this is a terrible time for his entire family.

I can promise she wasn’t at fault, it’s an area where a lot of homeless drug users stay in the woods by road..but right now it’s not a matter of fault, it’s a matter of the best outcome from the worst tragic event, her to keep her mind from going way dark over this, the pedestrian to live..and loves for their family, Diane that means YOU too!!! And, thank all of y’all in advance, this is gonna be hard on niecey no matter what the final results..and again, the person hit and their family…

Our thoughts are with this situation, because it is a tragic one. Hopefully, everything works out for everyone involved, but it seems like this nightmare is just beginning.
