AEW put on another blockbuster edition of Dynamite last night. The episode featured multiple bouts, including Dark Order and Adam Page’s six-man tag team match against the Blackpool Combat Club. That being said, one notable name was missing from Dynamite, and it seems there was a good reason for that.

During the Orange Cassidy vs Jeff Jarrett match for the AEW International Championship, Trent Beretta of Best Friends made his way to the ring in order to help out his friend Orange Cassidy.

Jeff Jarrett had Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh and Jay Lethal in his corner. However, Chuck Taylor was surprisingly missing for some reason. This puzzled fans in a big way.

As it turns out, Chuck Taylor took to Twitter and revealed that he had to undergo emergency dental surgery, which is why he was unable to make it for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Couldn’t help Orange because I had emergency dental surgery on my dumb skull. I hope Greg got me a ticket for Shazam Fury Of The Gods

For those who are curious, Greg is Trent Beretta. The match was promotional for Shazam Fury Of The Gods, which was also used as part of the reason why the name of the title was changed from All-Atlantic to International. Regardless, we’ll have to see when Chuck Taylor will be back.
