The pro wrestling world is difficult to operate in sometimes, because you never know when an injury can change everything. Now, it seems that Will Ospreay is out of action,

New Japan Pro Wrestling confirmed that Will Ospreay suffered a right shoulder injury. As a result of that injury, he has been pulled from their March 15th event.

We are uncertain how bad Will Ospreay’s current injury is. This injury will go on to affect things in a big way for Ospreay, because he was booked for some big matches over WrestleMania weekend for Wrestlecon in the New Japan vs Impact Wrestling event, and more.

The official announcement reads:

Will Ospreay sustains shoulder injury; absent from Okayama event

Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

During his match on March 13 in Ehime, Will Ospreay sustained an injury to his right shoulder, and does not have a timetable for recovery at this time.

As a result, Will is not cleared to compete tonight in Okayama.

Hopefully, Will Ospreay will be able to heal up and get back to action very soon. His talents will be missed in the ring for now, but there was no indication that they have any idea how long it will take for that return to happen.

Would Will Ospreay be better off in WWE or AEW? Sound off in the comments!
