Ilja Dragunov forced JD McDonagh (formerly known as Jordan Devlin) out of NXT UK on May 12, 2022. Since then, the two have crossed paths on multiple occasions and it will all come to an end next week on WWE NXT.
WWE announced a grudge match between The Czar and The Irish Ace for NXT next Tuesday. Dragunov said he wanted to end his rivalry with McDonagh during confrontation on NXT this week.
“You and me…next week”
The two men soon entered into a brawl that went all the way to the backstage. McDonagh even pulled NXT North American Champion Wes Lee into the fight when he hit him with a headbutt.
Ilja Dragunov will look to end bad blood between him and McDonagh next week on WWE NXT. However, failure to end the match on their terms will lead to the two longtime rivals continuing their bitter rivalry.
Ilja Dragunov versus JD McDonagh is the only match announced so far for the March 21, 2023, episode of WWE NXT. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we will update the line-up as new matches are announced.
