Sheamus had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. The Celtic Warrior has almost done it all when it comes to being a WWE Superstar. He is also a very tough guy, but has a big heart. His heart was essentially broken after Drew McIntyre decided to go after GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship and now it seems Sheamus had some strong words for his former friend.

Following the events of SmackDown, former world champion Sheamus became angry with Drew McIntyre. During a crucial fatal five-way match, featuring Xavier Woods, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, and Karrion Kross, the competitors fought fiercely for the chance to challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match reached a climax when Drew landed a devastating Claymore on Knight, while Sheamus executed a powerful Brogue Kick on Woods. Both superstars made the pin simultaneously, resulting in a chaotic ending with no decisive winner.

While speaking to Megan Morant on SmackDown LowDown, Sheamus was livid with Drew, accusing him of attempting to rob him of his chance to win the Intercontinental title. In a heated outburst, Sheamus referred to Drew as a “grave-robbing bastard” and criticized him for riding on his coattails throughout their careers.

Sheamus went on to express his frustration with Drew, stating that he had always been one step behind him, and accused him of undermining his chances of achieving his ultimate goal of becoming the first-ever Ultimate Grand Slam Champion at WrestleMania. Sheamus was visibly upset that Drew had once again betrayed him behind his back.

Drew McIntyre is nothing but a grave robbing bastard. That’s all he is and that’s all he’ll ever be. The Scottish Warrior – Celtic Warrior, you know what I mean? Brogue Kick – Claymore kick. Everything I’ve done in my life, he always piggybacked off me, every single thing.

This one thing, this one goal I have left, the one goal to be Intercontinental Champion, to become the first-ever Ultimate Grand Slam Champion, I’m right there. The cusp, WrestleMania, about to make history. And what does he do? He steps on my bleeding toes, goes behind my back, just like he always does.”

In the aftermath of the chaotic fatal five-way match, Sheamus and McIntyre are set to face off in a singles match on the next episode of SmackDown. WWE official Adam Pearce has made the decision, and the winner of the match will earn the chance to challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 39. We’ll have to see who will end up winning he match.
