Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Will Hobbs’ TNT Title win was planned for “months ago.” It seems that the company finally got around to pulling the trigger on that big win for the promising young star.

Will Hobbs was tentatively planned to win the TNT Championship around this time months ago. When Fightful reported last fall that Hobbs was set for a big push, this was the endgame. Will Washington will have more details on Day After Dynamite.

We’ll have to see how Will Hobbs’ TNT Title run turns out. In the end, it’s all up to Tony Khan, but it appears that Hobbs is set for a huge push in the company.
