Wardlow’s rapid rise to fame within All Elite Wrestling has been nothing short of impressive, cementing his status as a prominent figure. He held onto the TNT Championship for an extended period, garnering a significant following in a remarkably short span of time. In the recent AEW Revolution event, he managed to win the TNT Title again. However, it seems Wardlow was very emotional before the match.

For the past couple of months, Wardlow had been engaged in a bitter feud with Samoa Joe. After all, Joe was the one who betrayed Wardlow in the first place and ended up defeating him for the TNT Championship.

The highly anticipated AEW Revolution event witnessed fierce competition between Samoa Joe and Wardlow for the coveted TNT Championship. While Joe’s in-ring skills and experience were on display, Wardlow’s agility and strength left a lasting impression on the enthralled audience.

In the end, Wardlow put The Samoan Submission Machine in a sleeper hold and won the match, thus becoming the new TNT Champion. While speaking during the post-AEW Revolution press conference, Wardlow talked about his TNT Championship win. Wardlow then revealed that he was the most emotional he had ever been, prior to his match with Samoa Joe.

I had a moment tonight about 10 mintues before my match, where I did get a little emotional. It was the most emotional I have ever been going into a match. I think there was a time where I had a full mount on him, raining down fists, I think I almost came close to getting myself disqualified. It takes many many years of anger to gain the peace and control that I have had to learn to, because I didn’t always have control on it. Thank god I learned to control it. It doesn’t matter how bad somebody pisses me off, how personal things get. I’m a monster, but I’m an intelligent one. I can control myself to make sure the ending is how I wanted it to be.

During the next episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite, the stage is set for an epic showdown between Will Hobbs and Wardlow for the coveted title. Hobbs even had a confrontation with Wardlow during that same media scrum. While it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious, the match is sure to be one filled with intense action and excitement.

Given Wardlow’s impressive track record and skillset, it remains to be seen whether he will have an easy win against Hobbs. However, with Hobbs’ tenacity and determination, he could prove to be a formidable opponent for Wardlow. Only time will tell who will come out on top in what promises to be an unforgettable clash for the title.
