Seth Rollins has had highly successful career in WWE, earning multiple world championship titles and participating in memorable rivalries against some of the company’s top competitors. That being said, Rollins is never afraid of speaking his mind no matter what. He had some harsh things to say about CM Punk recently and it seems Rollins really didn’t like saying those.

CM Punk’s run in WWE came to a shocking conclusion after the Royal Rumble in 2014 when he was frustrated with the company, leading him to simply walk out. He had not competed in a ring for seven years until his AEW debut in 2021.

Clearly, quite a few people still hold it against CM Punk, especially those who even worked with him in the past, which includes even Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins also called CM Punk cancer during Royal Rumble weekend which led to a lot of discussions as well. While speaking on  Fox Sports Radio, Seth Rollins talked about his previous comments about CM Punk. Rollins admitted that it pained him to say those things about CM Punk.

Oh well I don’t need to repeat what I said about Chicago Phil in an interview last week but I’m sure if you need to, you can Google it. Look, the bottom line is, it’s the same thing as with Logan Paul.

Punk and Logan Paul are two different personalities but they’re both as selfish as it comes and if you’re not gonna help, then I don’t want you to be apart of our industry, I don’t want you to be apart of our company and that’s all there is to that.

And here’s the thing that I will say one thing about Punk and end it on a positive note with him: that guy has given my career so much that it pains me to have to say bad things about him because he helped me out, he really did.

He’s been a good guy to me for a lot of my career but for whatever reason, the past, maybe, six-seven years, he’s in a different headspace and we’re not on the same page and to see kind of what he’s done and taken, taken, taken it’s always about him, I’m not a fan. I’m just not a fan. Not a fan.

There’s a place for him man, he’s got a lot to give, I just wish his head was in a different spot.”

CM Punk could also make his return to AEW after being away for so long due to injury. We’ll have to wait and see whether Punk will end up returning in the end.

Do you think CM Punk will return to AEW? Sound off in the comments!
