Impact Wrestling is still trying hard to secure a viewership, and they are also making efforts to lock down their talent. Deonna Purrazzo has seen a lot of success since re-joining the company following her run in WWE NXT, and now she will stick around the company for the remainder of 2023.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that, “IMPACT Wrestling exercised the one-year option they had on Deonna Purrazzo.” It was also noted that, “Purrazzo has not signed a new contract or deal with IMPACT.”

Purrazzo’s deal is up at the end of 2023, and she becomes a free agent on January 1, 2024. During the process, we were asked by talent in multiple companies if she was a free agent, and is expected to get interest from companies upon that date. She’ll be 29 when she reaches free agency.

The report also noted that, Deonna Purrazzo’s “contract was supposed to be up at the end of 2022. However, with an alteration to some terms back in 2021, there was a one-year option added that gave IMPACT the right to extend the deal through 2023. We’re told on IMPACT’s side it was an obvious choice.”
