Meiko Satomura last competed in NXT on the September 6, 2022, edition of the brand. Next week, the former NXT UK Women’s Champion will make her televised return to the white and gold brand.

WWE announced that the Japanese legend will team up with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez in a tag team match against former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance next week on NXT.

The match was booked after Carter and Chance interrupted Roxanne Perez’s interview during the earlier moments of the show. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions brought up Roxanne Perez’s short-lived partnership with Cora Jade as well.

They said Perez had no friends in NXT to which she replied that she’ll make a call. The NXT Women’s Champion confirmed later during the show that she’ll be teaming up with a returning Satomora next week on NXT.

Wes Lee appeared for a backstage interview with McKenzie Mitchell tonight on NXT. Lee talked about his incredible match from this past Saturday. Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo interrupted the interview.

The Don said Lee owed him a match after the interference that led to him retaining his North American Championship at Vengeance Day. Lee said he didn’t need any help, adding that he’ll be holding an open challenge for the title next week.

Tyler Bate called out Grayson Waller for a match next week as well. The Big Strong Boi said Waller’s suspension will be over next week, and he wanted the arrogant Aussie to try and disrespect him.

“So Grayson, you want to disrespect someone. How’s about next week you try and disrespect me!” Wow, Tyler Bate just called out @GraysonWWE
