Former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle was one of the mainstays of WWE television during the mid to late 2000s. He was used largely used as a comedy act and that never changed. That being said, Vince McMahon defended Hornswoggle in a big way against Kevin Dunn.

Vince McMahon elicits mixed reactions due to his controversial reputation. On one hand, he is credited with revolutionizing the wrestling industry, adapting technology to enhance WWE’s success, and expanding a regional promotion to a global scale.

Despite his divisive public image, Vince McMahon has demonstrated acts of kindness and concern for others at times, ranging from small gestures to significant actions.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Hornswoggle explained that Kevin Dunn would refer to Hornswoggle/Dylan simply as “the midget” when discussing production matters. McMahon would then proceed to blast Dunn for the slur.

“Kevin Dunn on a headset. I was underneath the ring, and I could always hear the conversations between everyone. Everyone. The producers in the back, Kevin Dunn in the truck, Vince in the back.

Whenever he had to, like, say a specific direction. I was like, on this headset, I loved it. I was like, Oh, I get to hear a lot of things.

So Kevin Dunn’s like ‘Vince, we need to figure out how to get the midget back to the back.’ [As Vince] ‘Goddammit Kevin! We don’t use that word. He’s a little person.’

[Dunn’s response] ‘Oh, sorry. Sorry, Vince. Sorry.’ And it was like apology after apology after apology. And they apologized to me, too. It’s like, I don’t care.”

Hornswoggle would also love to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. We will have to wait and see whether that will happen one day.
