Gallus Returns To Win Tag Team Gauntlet During NXT New Year’s Evil

Gallus caused a lot of chaos on the September 27, 2022, episode of NXT. The trio of Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang attacked WWE officials and were suspended for their actions that night. Tonight, they finally made their return to NXT.

Gallus made their surprise return during a tag team gauntlet during NXT: New Year’s Evil tonight. Wolfgang and Mark Coffey shocked the NXT Universe when they emerged as Pretty Deadly’s next opponents.

It was revealed that Gallus had ambushed Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, who were originally supposed to take on Pretty Deadly in the gauntlet, prior to their appearance. Gallus made quick work of Elton Prince and Kit Wilson as well.

After winning the gauntlet, Gallus had a stare down with NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston). Vic Joesph noted Joe Coffey will be lurking in the corner after Gallus got their suspension lifted on NXT.
