Lee Moriarty Had No Idea MJF Was The Firm’s Leader Until AEW All Out

Earlier this year, MJF was absent from AEW television for quite long time after his scathing rant on AEW President Tony Khan, one that concluded with him calling Khan a “f*cking mark.” It wouldn’t be until AEW All Out that MJF made his shocking return as part of The Firm. In fact, Lee Moriarty had no idea MJF was going to be the faction’s leader until the event.

MJF returned while wearing a devil mask during the Casino Ladder match and won the match after The Firm took over the match and picked up the poker chip for The Salt Of The Earth.

While speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Lee Moriarty talked about his involvement in The Firm. Moriarty revealed that he had no idea MJF was going to be the faction’s leader.

 “I didn’t know it was MJF until afterwards. So after he got the poker chip and walked off, back to his trailer, I found out. But it was a really well-kept secret.”

We will have to wait and see how MJF will fare against Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear on November 19th. It is likely The Firm will be involved in the match, one way or the other.
