MJF has worked hard to become one of the top heels in the history of the industry. For many fans, he is truly a generational talent. MJF became huge star in AEW in a short time and has far exceeded expectations.
On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, William Regal and MJF engaged in a promo battle where fans were totally engrossed with what they were seeing. It revealed how Regal ultimately crushed MJF when he was trying to join WWE.
In fact, MJF stated that he wanted to end his life after Regal sent him that email. While speaking on the “Gentleman Villain” podcast, William Regal revealed that he had no idea about the promo beforehand.
“We went out there with – I had no clue about any of this. We just went out there, and I just reacted. I was going to let him do his thing and I was just going to do my thing.”
MJF is set to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title at AEW Full Gear in November. We will have to wait and see whether MJF ends up winning the title or not.
