Renee Paquette was part of the WWE family for eight years until she parted ways with the company back in the Summer of 2020. She parted ways with the company after FOX’s WWE Backstage show was cancelled.
As seen on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Renee Paquette made her shocking debut. Fans and pro wrestlers alike were glad to see the former WWE personality in AEW.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, AEW President Tony Khan talked about Renee Paquette working in AEW. Khan made it clear he is ecstatic working with her.
Renee is new to AEW, but she’s a very familiar face. She’s a consummate professional and brings so much knowledge and experience to our production backstage, and she’s brought her amazing presence to AEW TV. We’re very excited to have her … Her brain is so valuable for us to have backstage producing the shows.”
The news of Renee Paquette signing with AEW was officially confirmed by Tony Khan on Twitter. We will have to wait and see how she will be used in AEW.
