Bray Wyatt was definitely one of the most creative wrestlers in all of WWE, even when he was no longer part of the company. Fans started liking him due to his sheer endless creativity.

The former Universal Champion was released by WWE in July of last year. Since then, the world wondered where he would go next. AEW seemed like a good option at the time, but nothing was finalized.

Bray Wyatt made his return during the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event and completely shocked everyone in attendance. He then cut a very emotional and candid promo on Friday Night Smackdown last week, which many fans appreciated.

Speaking on Grilling JR, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross talked about Bray Wyatt’s return and addressed whether he thought Wyatt was interested in AEW.

“I don’t know if he ever interviewed with Tony Khan or not. It wouldn’t surprise me if he did, I don’t know. Bray may have had this plan all along. Take some time off, try to go back to the nest. I don’t know if they ever talked. I think the horse is out of the barn.

He wanted to go back to WWE, and I don’t know that amount of money Tony could’ve offered that was gonna supplant his career in WWE. I may be wrong. I think you’d be silly if you’re in the wrestling business and this talent was a free agent, and you didn’t at least engage in a conversation to determine his level of interest, if there was any interest. My take is, there was never any major interest, and it was all about right place in the right time to get him back in the game.”

We will have to wait and see how Bray Wyatt will be booked in the coming weeks. Fans are certainly excited for his return as well.
