WWE Warned Against Making Karrion Kross’ Gimmick ‘Stupid’

Karrion Kross saw a lot of success in NXT, but all of that was all for nought after he was called up to the main roster. His credibility was non-existent and Kross was largely ridiculed, thanks to terrible helmet and gladiator gear that Vince McMahon gave him.

Karrion Kross returned and immediately attacked Drew McIntyre during the closing moments of SmackDown a few weeks ago. Kross and Scarlett are now highlights of Smackdown as well.

During this past week’s SmackDown, Karrion Kross interfered in the main event featuring Drew McIntyre and Solo Sikoa. Kross choked McIntyre out while the screen turned to black and white.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez warned WWE against making Karrion Kross’ gimmick ‘stupid.’

The last thing that I wannna be reminded of when I watch these shows is this dumb s* that Vince used to do. When the guy rushes the ring and suddenly the camera doesn’t have colour anymore, that’s dumb s* and they have to get rid of it. It doesn’t make the act better, it makes the act stupid.

We will have to wait and see how Karrion Kross will be booked in the coming weeks. It is likely he will eventually go after Roman Reigns’ titles in an engaging feud.
