WWE has a big show planned for RAW next week. A big return is reportedly going down, and now we have a cage match to look forward to.

Bobby Lashley has a lot of admirers, one of which is Randy Orton. Even former WWE superstar RVD says that he wants piece of Bobby Lashley. Before that, it appears that The Miz is getting his chance to settle the score with Lashley.

Lashley is set to defend his United States Championship against The Miz. They’re going to have a full-on steel cage match for the championship at Monday Night RAW next week. The Miz and Lashley locked horns earlier this week as well, though it was in a non-title match.

The Miz took to social media to issue a challenge against Lashley. In the video, he said that because of Dexter Lumis, he would have defeated the United States Championship. He further added that he wants the United States title to be part of every important show, more than any other championship.

The fact that the #USChampionship is not represented at #WWECastle is a slap in the face to every legend who has ever held it. Maryse and I may be on vacation, but this Monday it’s back to business. #WWERaw Lashley vs. Miz for the US Title inside a steel cage. #NoDistractions

Lashley accepted his challenge. He stated that the only way for the U.S. title to gain any respect is to never get into the hands of people like The Miz. He wants to get total defeat against The Miz so that others like him would think twice before trying to get their hands on the title.

I accept. See you Monday @mikethemiz. #WWERaw

The Miz is right about the interference from Dexter Lumis, for what it’s worth. Lumis appeared in the crowd, which distracted The Miz. There was also the angle of Lumis kidnapping The Miz. It seems Lumis might not be able to do anything when there’s a locked steel cage. The September 5 edition of RAW is set to include Bianca Belair, Riddle, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Bobby Lashley, The Miz, Bayley & Theory.
