Mclnytre had a match against Sami Zayn on SmackDown, and he was able to hit the Claymore Kick and cover for the three count for the win. Then things took a turn for the worse.

Afterward, The Bloodline ran in to attack McIntyre. The Usos brought steel chairs into the ring and repeatedly hit McIntyre. The Usos then dragged McIntyre outside and threw him over the announce table, bouncing him off the barricade. McIntyre took some chair shots after that and Reigns locked him in the guillotine before slamming him to the mat.

WWE filmed next week’s episode of SmackDown on Friday, so they can get to the UK next week for the pay-per-view. That beings said, if McIntyre is on next week’s show, then his battle wounds will still be very fresh for the camera.

Hopefully, McIntyre will be healed up for his big match against Reigns on next Saturday. We don’t need any broken dreams, but he has teased that fans might hear that old song as he makes his way to the ring.
