Triple H took over the reins as Head of WWE Creative after former CEO Vince McMahon retired last month. So far, Triple H has brought back ex-NXT talent and put more emphasis on wrestling and mid-card championship matches on television. One person who has an interesting take on the switch from McMahon to Triple H is Roman Reigns.

During his interview with Sports Illustrated Media, the Tribal Chief briefly discussed the new creative direction in WWE. Although Triple H’s new creative role has gained a lot of traction over the past several weeks, Reigns is more focused on maintaining his spot at the top of the roster.

We’re not erasing what I’ve done. Even if [Triple H] wasn’t completely locked in to what we’ve been doing over the past six months and obviously over the past year, with, you know, the health issues he’s overcome … I don’t care who’s running the show, in my mind, I’m running the show and as long as I continue to push myself and bring my very best performance every single week it don’t matter if it’s Vince, Triple H, Nick [Khan], Stephanie, Amazon, Disney, Heyman.

Reigns certainly have a lot of other things to focus on rather than who’s running WWE creative. He’s set to defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at the Clash at the Castle pay-per-view next month.
