AEW President Tony Khan has been speaking a lot about the company’s future and backstage morale. With the changes happening in Warner Bros., thanks to new leadership, many have wondered where this leaves Khan’s promotion on TNT and currently owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.

In a recent interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Khan spoke about a recent Warner Bros. Discovery presentation that highlighted AEW. While reaffirming that the promotion is in the parent company’s plans, he also teased a promising partnership with a “hugely prestigious IP.”

We recently also collaborated on a panel with AEW representation at Comic-Con through the Warner Bros. Discovery PR and media team. They were so helpful. That was a huge success. Now I’m excited about another integration that hasn’t been announced yet. I’m very pumped about it. It’s going to be very soon. The IP is very prestigious in the world of television. The partnership represents another really good sign that Warner Bros. Discovery likes what AEW is doing.

We will have to see how AEW handles this partnership. After all, Tony Khan dropped the ball in big way when buying ROH. He has also made the backstage atmosphere quite chaotic as of late.

AEW continues to expand its portfolio and partnerships. It next has its first console game, AEW Fight Forever, scheduled for release later this year. There is also the rumored reality television show that will focus on the couples of AEW.
