AEW is known to sign up a talent if Tony Khan wants to use them. It just so happens that a lot of contracts go to former WWE stars. Now we have another name to add to that growing roster.

According to Sean Sapp’s report behind his paywall, AEW has inked a deal with Blake Christian. The 25-year-old wrestler worked for several companies, including AEW, ROH, IMPACT, NJPW, GCW, and Jim Crockett Promotions after his 2021 WWE release. Obviously, getting cut from Vince McMahon’s former company didn’t keep him down.

Now, Christian is reportedly under a new deal with Tony Khan. He has worked with Tony Deppen and Alex Zayne in ROH as well.

Blake tagged with Tony Deppen and Alex Zayne at ROH Death Before Dishonor. He’s also worked several AEW dates, dating back to the Dark tapings in March. However, he worked three matches at the July set of Dark tapings, leading many to believe he’d been signed by the company.

We will have to see what’s next for Blake Christian. He is still going strong and fans just might see him on a regular basis on AEW television soon enough.
