AEW fans who also love gaming are in for a treat. The long-awaited ‘Fight Forever’ video game is getting closer to release with each day. Today, the company partnered with THQ Nordic and Yukes to release more information about the upcoming brawler.

AEW Fight Forever will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. There is no release date yet, but it has been a long time coming. There is also a new teaser trailer, but no new gameplay footage was revealed.

Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega spoke about the game in the press release. He said partnering with THQ Nordic to distribute the game is a home run. The Cleaner is pumped about the possibilities.

“One of the first things I did after signing with AEW was to ask Tony Khan to let me help assemble the best gaming team on the planet, to make the best wrestling game ever. Well, we just landed the perfect finisher by partnering with global publishing and distribution powerhouse THQ Nordic for AEW: Fight Forever. The THQ brand has long been synonymous with wrestling games – there is simply no more qualified partner to bring AEW: Fight Forever to the millions of wrestling fans the world over.”

According to the game’s website, AEW: Fight Forever will have an arcade feel to it. A new career mode will highlight what life is like on the road as an AEW star. The game will feature several match types including the infamous Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match.

The game is now available for pre-order on all platforms. A release date should follow soon. AEW fans have been waiting for this since the company was founded in 2019, and soon, they’ll be able to Fight Forever (or until the servers are decommissioned).
