Jake Roberts Thought Someone Would Kill Vince McMahon Before He Retired

Vince McMahon made headlines for all the wrong reasons last month after he secretly paid $3 million as settlement to a departing employee. Due to this, McMahon was under investigation, and he had to retire. Jake Roberts also thought someone might’ve ended McMahon’s life before he retired.

It was then revealed that McMahon also paid $12 million in hush money to several women over the last twenty years. This was the last straw for many people, ultimately leading to McMahon’s downfall.

Vince McMahon took to Twitter last Friday and announced his decision to retire from WWE. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts stated that he thought someone might have just tried to kill Vince McMahon before he retired.

“I didn’t know if he’d retire or if somebody would kill him first. I really didn’t because he’s pissed off a lot of friggin’ people, man. And sometimes money can get you out of s**t. But all it takes is one loose nut to put a shell in your a** that stops everything.”

Kurt Angle also believes Vince McMahon is an excellent individual. We’ll have to wait and see how much WWE will change now. For the time being, WWE doesn’t necessarily want big changes.
