WWE has turned WrestleMania into one of the biggest pop culture events of the year. Every April, the company draws massive crowds to stadiums around the country. For WrestleMania 40, the company will be hitting a first-time location for Mania.

Fans in the Keystone State will be thrilled to learn that WWE has announced the location for WrestleMania 40. The show will take place on April 6 and 7, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It will be the first stadium-sized Mania held in PA.

In a press release, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said the city is excited about the news. They will welcome WWE with open arms. He believes it will bring a global spotlight to the City of Brotherly Love.

“We are proud to welcome WWE fans from around the world to Philadelphia to be a part of the historic 40th WrestleMania in 2024. The week-long series of events will help put a global spotlight on our great city while also generating a major impact for our local economy.”

Lincoln Financial Field is the home to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. With a brand new location, there should be huge interest from fans. Eagles President Don Smolenski said they are thrilled to partner with WWE.

WWE noted that additional information on WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia will be released shortly. It’s been a long time coming for one of America’s great cities. Stay tuned to Ringside News for all the latest on this huge announcement.
