WWE is no stranger to dropping entire gimmicks already over with the crowd and give new names and entrances to their superstars. They did the same on the July 19th episode of NXT 2.0.
Axiom made his debut tonight on the yellow brand. The Mathematical Superhero made his debut against Dante Chen. Axiom won the match after hitting Chen with a huge drop kick to the face.
Axiom’s debut was announced on NXT 2.0 last week. For those not in the know, the person behind the mask is none other than A-Kid. He last appeared on WWE programming on the May 26th episode of NXT UK.
A-Kid isn’t the only superstar who made his debut under a new gimmick this week on NXT 2.0. James Drake and Zack Gibson also revealed themselves to be Joe Gacy’s The Dyad.
