Cody Rhodes became one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW after making his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. He went on to have excellent matches with Seth Rollins and elevated himself to a whole new level Mark Henry also compare him to The Rock in an interesting way.
The American Nightmare wasted no time in becoming a huge babyface and a fan favorite following his WWE return. He is also a student of the game and truly loves the business.
While speaking on the latest Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry said that The Rock studied wrestling more than anyone else. He added that Cody Rhodes is the closest to the Rock when it comes to studying pro wrestling.
“I’ve never met another wrestler in the business even to this day that studied more than he [The Rock] did. The closest I’ve seen is Cody Rhodes. They watch wrestling all day long. They’re always writing something down – ‘I’m going to try this later. I’m going to do this…'”
Rhodes is on the shelf after he got surgery for his torn pectoral muscle. WWE even filmed Cody Rhodes’ entire surgery for later use. We’ll have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Rhodes after he comes back.
