Pat McAfee challenged his old NFL roommate, Happy Corbin, to a match at SummerSlam. The former Division 2 football player answered McAfee’s challenge after viciously attacking him at Money In The Bank. McAfee referred to the fact that McAfee had known Corbin before signing with WWE.

Well, WWE is seemingly playing on the history of the two men. The company’s social media account posted a flashback photo of the two in their Indianapolis Colts jerseys. McAfee appears to be the more jovial superstar in the photo seen below.

Corbin played Division 2 football at Northwest Missouri State before transitioning into the NFL. He played for the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent and later for the Arizona Cardinals. McAfee was drafted to Indianapolis in 2009 after playing as a placekicker for West Virginia.

McAfee, for weeks, has called the former Golden Gloves boxer “bum ass Corbin.” The two have been at each other’s throats since the weeks leading up to Money in the Bank. Now that their match is official, one has to wonder whether a football will be involved.
