AEW has certainly come a long way since its inception back in 2019. The overall product has gone through many changes, but still has what fans want to see. They keep adding to their roster, and Jim Ross might have a good reason why.
Ross knows a lot about recruiting talent, because he was head of talent relations for WWE, a job he held down for a long time. AEW also has many of the best pro wrestlers in the world. Their roster has a lot of depth as they have a variety of talent.
While speaking on “Grilling JR”, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross stated that he believes AEW’s family friendly schedule has helped them recruit more talent.
AEW, we don’t even do the house shows,” Ross said. “Our guys work a travel day and a production day, so they’ve got one of the best schedules in the history of pro wrestling, and are making good money in AEW, and their longevity is going to increase, I think we’ll see. I think what’s always going to be great for us, as far as recruiting talent, is the fact that we’ve got a schedule that’s family-friendly for the talent. [It’s the] first time ever.”
We will have to wait and see who they will end up signing next to the company. For the time being, AEW has more than enough talent.
