John Morrison has become quite famous for being able to reinvent himself based on where he is wrestling. Morrison has been known as Johnny Nitro, Johnny Impact, Johnny Mundo, Johnny Elite, and more. During a recent Australian tour, the former WWE superstar was branded as “Johnny Down Under.”

Morrison was scheduled to perform at tonight’s Game Changer Wrestling show in Los Angeles, California. “Johnny Game Changer” was set to take on Gringo Loco at the event. Unfortunately, the promotion has announced that he is unable to compete due to an injury.

Morrison recently returned from a stint in the WSW promotion in Australia, where he had a ton of success. He has not wrestled since then. GCW did not elaborate on the nature of John Morrison’s injury in their tweet announcing the change.

Just Signed: GRINGO LOCO vs ROCKY ROMERO”

GCW could do a lot worse for a replacement than Rocky Romero. The replacement may help take the sting off for fans who were excited to see Johnny Game Changer. Once he’s healthy, GCW will likely try to bring him back in at a future date.

Hopefully, the injury to John Morrison isn’t serious. Even in his absence, the show must go on. GCW’s No Signal In the Hills will air live tonight at 11 PM eastern on FITE TV.
