Why WWE Pushed Austin Theory Instead Of Matt Riddle

Austin Theory has worked hard to make himself one of the brightest young stars in all of WWE right now. Being part of Johnny Gargano’s stable, The Way, certainly helped him out. There is also a good reason why Theory has been pushed instead of Riddle.

Theory went on to win the Men’s Money In The Bank match, and this came as a huge shock for many as well. He even made history after winning the match, but Theory will continue to be annoying for many fans.

This is especially because many fans feel Matt Riddle deserves a push much more than Austin Theory. While speaking on Mat Men, Andrew Zarian revealed that he was asked why Theory is getting pushed instead of Riddle. It is simply the case of it not being Riddle’s time right now.

”Someone said why did they pass on Riddle. I asked, and they said ‘it’s not his time, don’t worry about Riddle, it’s not his time.”

Dolph Ziggler is also being used to groom Austin Theory. We’ll have to wait and see when Matt Riddle will be getting a proper push as well.
