Randy Orton has been working in WWE for 20 years now, and fans agree that he was simply destined for greatness. He has won numerous titles in his career and done everything a WWE Superstar would want to accomplish in the company.

Randy Orton’s feud with Mick Foley truly elevated Orton to the next level. It was during his time as ‘The Legend Killer’ that Orton began his bitter feud with Mick Foley.

In the lead-up to their match at Backlash 2004, Mick Foley cut a scathing promo on Randy Orton. This led some wrestlers to believe that Foley made Orton look weak.

While speaking on the latest episode of “Foley is Pod,” Mick Foley recalled being accused of making Randy Orton look weak during their feud because of that promo.

“The promo which was not popular with a few of the heels backstage that thought I made Randy look weak. Because I stopped and I cut a promo on how I had been spit on, pissed on, thrown up on, pooped on, and all of this, and that I remember he did look fearful as I was cutting that promo. I said, ‘I was bleeding in six continents when you were still latched onto your mother’s breast.’ I guess some of the main players thought I made him look weak.”

Orton will forever be grateful for all Mick Foley has done for his career, and that is unlikely to ever change. We’ll have to see when Orton will make his return to WWE television as well.
