Bianca Belair has experienced an extremely successful career in WWE so far. Belair won both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Titles and is also a Royal Rumble winner. She also told fans to respect WWE stars’ boundaries recently, and she had a very good reason to do so.

One of the double-edged swords when it comes to being a pro wrestler is the lack of boundaries displayed by some fans. This happened to Bianca Belair during recent late-night interaction. In June of this year, Bianca Belair posted on Instagram to tell her troubling story.

“We drove 20 minutes from the venue, sitting at a red light… a fan just ran up to the window, tapped on the window trying to take a picture. Scared the sh*t out of us…

I love my fans, but Do NOT FOLLOW me from the venue. DO NOT RUN UP to my car window while I’m sitting at red light at 11pm tapping on the window. It’s not safe for me. It’s not safe for you.

While speaking with Nick Hausman, Bianca Belair said that she always tries “to stay behind and sign as many autographs and take as many pictures as possible.” The EST of WWE then proceeded to tell fans to respect WWE stars’ boundaries and not hound them for autographs during odd times of the day.

“I mean, I love my fans. I love all the love and all the support that they give me … But when we are outside of the WWE wrestling space, or at night time especially, I know it might seem like it’s fun, all in the name of fun, but there’s boundaries. And I want you guys to be safe, and I want to be safe at the same time too.

So sometimes I am traveling alone, sometimes I am with my husband, sometimes I am with my kids. We just have to have boundaries to keep everyone safe.”

Pro wrestlers are human beings at the end of the day, and they deserve privacy as much as anyone else. We certainly hope Bianca Belair doesn’t have to deal with any similar incidents in the future. In the meantime, all fans can certainly learn a lesson from the EST of WWE’s request.
