AEW outdid themselves with the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. The June 26th show was full of action, excitement, wrestling and entertainment. It appears that Tony Khan already could have a venue for Forbidden Door 2 locked in his mind.

Khan opened this week’s Rampage tapings. For those not in the know, AEW films content for Rampage immediately following the conclusion of Dynamite. The show airs at 10:00 p.m. ET every Friday. You can read spoiler results for Rampage right here.

Khan told the crowd at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, he wants to bring Forbidden Door 2 to Detroit. The inaugural Forbidden Door PPV event took place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

NJPW President Takami Ohbari had previously revealed his intention of bringing Forbidden Door to Japan. Ohbari said he could see the event coinciding with New Japan’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
