Hit Row member Top Dolla transitioned from the world of football to professional wrestling. He adjusted to WWE’s way of pro wrestling pretty quick and the results spoke for themselves. He also discussed the importance of promos in pro wrestling.

Top Dolla was seen as the leader of Hit Row due to his impressive mic skills and well-liked diss tracks. It was all in vain as Hit Row was released by WWE back in November last year.

While speaking on the Strictly Business podcast, Top Dolla talked about WWE’s NIL program. He then stated that he believes WWE stars who can’t cut promos are just placeholders.

“The guys that make money are the ones that are wizards with the wand. So are these athletes going to be able to do that part is the part that matters to be. Because you can be the best athlete in the world. You can be the best wrestler in the world. But if you can’t talk on the mic, you’re just a placeholder till the next guy shows up.”
