AEW will be making its return to the Twin Cities this August. Tony Khan’s company previously visited for an episode of Rampage as well as the 2021 Full Gear pay-per-view. The first-ever Dynamite to take place in Minneapolis will get some special branding, as well.

AEW announced the news in a press release. The site of the big event will be the Target Center. It will be the only event in Minnesota in 2022.

The special episode of Dynamite has been dubbed ‘The Quake By The Lake.’ Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 24, at 10 AM central time. Fans in Minnesota will want to get their hands on seats early, as this will be the only time AEW makes it to the state for the foreseeable future.

@AEW’s only Minnesota event of 2022 takes place at 7:00 PM on August 10 featuring AEW Dynamite and Rampage. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 24 at 10:00 AM.”

The last time AEW was at the Target Center, history was made as “Hangman” Adam Page defeated Kenny Omega to capture the AEW World Championship. That show also saw Bryan Danielson become the #1 contender to the title after defeating Miro in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament final. AEW is hoping to be a big draw in Minneapolis with this special edition of Dynamite.
