WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis landed himself in trouble after he was allegedly involved in Vince McMahon’s hush money settlement scandal. That led a lot of people to wonder what Johnny Ace would do in the company.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon did not rip up the script this week. In fact, we were told it was very stress free day of television and Vince McMahon acted like he “won the lottery.”

In fact, the belief was that Johnny Ace was going to lose his job after the Vince McMahon scandal. However, that’s unlikely to be the case.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Laurinaitis not showing up on SmackDown this week. It was said that he was never supposed to be there in the first place.

John Lauranitis was never scheduled to be in Minneapolis tonight. So him not being there is not necessarily any kind of a story. I mean he wasn’t there, but and there were some internet rumors that he was there. He was not there and not scheduled to be there. I believe he’s scheduled to be there on Monday.

We will have to wait and see what will become of Johnny Ace. Odds are, he’s still going to have the same power, even with Stephanie McMahon in charge now. Only time will tell how the chips land in this situation, because it’s been plenty unexpected so far.
