Michael Cole has been seen as the voice of WWE for many years now. He started out as a backstage interviewer and eventually moved his way up the ranks and perfected his skills. He was still blasted for his WWE commentary.

Cole truly got his break after working with the likes of Taz on Friday Night Smackdown. He has earned the respect of fans and peers alike, even though he was not always liked.

However, not everyone likes his way of commentary. While speaking on “WSI” with James Romero, Dutch Mantell blasted Michael Cole for his overly corporate commentary in WWE.

“I’d rather walk through a beehive with my shirt off than to listen to Michael Cole call a match. Because he’s so corporate. Everything you see, even when they come back to him, he’s reading out something that they wanna get in.”

Pat McAfee claimed that Michael Cole could call a match with bag as his partner. Regardless, there will be those who don’t like what Cole does and that won’t change anytime soon.
